Use Beav from an Agent

The Beav Creator Plugin connects Codex Desktop or WorkBuddy to Beav on the same computer. The host Agent understands your cross-app goal and starts the delegation; Beav's internal Agent handles source retrieval, creation work, media processing, approvals, and artifact verification.

One line to install

Send this to Codex Desktop:

Codex reads the machine guide on this site, locates the Codex CLI bundled with the desktop app, asks Beav to prepare a local plugin marketplace, completes the install with read-back verification, and then creates a task that can use the new MCP tools.

WorkBuddy locates its own bundled CodeBuddy CLI, prepares and validates a compatible local marketplace, installs the plugin, reloads it hot, and verifies the MCP with creator_status and workspace_list.

Two channels

• The Agent control channel: Codex or WorkBuddy talks to Beav's internal Agent through the Beav Creator MCP.
• The user workspace channel: you sign in, review, approve, and edit through the localhost browser UI.

The host Agent does not click web pages, read the DOM, or decide a task is done from a screenshot. Completion is based on what Beav returns: a typed task terminal state, artifact references, and read-back evidence.
